How does one get an account "hold" released. All over an $8.00 charge due? Paid it but account still on hold.

It has been impossible to contact ebay to get any resolution. They claim my credit card vompany has not accepted payment twice. That is not probable as the account is in good standing.

If your account is on hold it's likely needs human intervention to release, it's not going to happen immediately.

"How" did you pay the $8?  With a credit card or via an ACH from your checking account?  Only inquire as one of those is an instant payment typically and one is not.
