I've been selling on Ebay for some time now and I have had no complaints, returns, issues from Buyers or anything to raise a red flag on my account. Most Buyers even gave me amazing Positive Feedback and my account was set at Above Standard and 2-3 days ago out of the blue I receive this message from Ebay:
------------------------------------
eBay regularly evaluates the accounts of eBay seller. In relation to your account, we have noticed that your account performance and activities may cause a risk to eBay community. To protect the eBay community, we have applied the following restrictions to your eBay account in accordance with the eBay user agreement and eBay policies:
(a) Your selling privileges are restricted. Consequently, you will neither be able to create new listings nor revise your existing listings on any eBay site; and (b) Your payments have been placed on hold.
Restriction reason: High risk selling.
The safety of our community is a top priority for us. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

So, there is no real explanation on why or how to fix this and I emailed them to ask what I did wrong and I get no replies and there seems to be no more Customer Support Chat.
Does anyone have any clue on what is happening and how I can fix this?

How is your INR rate?

There are some red flags. You are selling multiples of new high-dollar goods at under-market prices in a high fraud category. This triggered a review of your account.
Last year new consumer protection legislation was passed called the INFORM Act. This new law requires that online selling venues investigate the sellers of such goods. Afraid you were snagged in that dragnet. We see reports of this regularly here in the forum from other unlucky sellers.
Under these circumstances, sellers must keep better, more-detailed, meticulous records, and be savvy about such laws. I know of no avenue to appeal. But if eBay requests documents, you will at least have an opportunity to make a case for your business legitimacy.
Unfortunately, eBay is no longer a place to sell items like these, or to make a quick dollar, due to the INFORM Act.

Sold 4 of the same items at a rather high price(but worth more at retail)...from Greece...in English language...not Greek language...that's a red flag....thinking eBay wants receipts...as to where those items you auctioned were purchased.

I did sell some items lately that I bought from a store at MSRP but sold them off at higher price from MSRP, didn't think that was a problem, I mean, isn't Ebay and many more market places supposed to work that way, when you find something that a store does not know it has more value from MSRP to take it and sell it to get some cash? I mean look at all those old Comics & TCG Displays that once where worth their MSRP and are now worth WAY more, so I don't see the problem to restrict my account really. I guess I will have to wait for a reply.

OK, good to know that we, individual sellers, are not really wanted on Ebay any more and only Busineses are welcomed. What a downer!

OK, so I got a reply from Customer Service. They told me my account is Restricted for 30 days and need to contact them after 30 days to review it again. They will not tell me what went wrong or why, just that it is what it is and nothing will change and I should not try to ask for it to be lifted before 30 days have passed.
