Account Fully Restricted (looking to reinstate)

Hello everyone,

i have been off the platform for a few years now and as I went to list an item today eBay informed me that i have been permanently banned. It appears its because i sold something years ago when i was active and failed to ship it out. Honest mistake as i was no longer active and the buyer was completely refunded not long after. I have tried calling and reaching out to customer service to get this resolved but no luck. Anyone have any ideas on how i can get this cleaned up?

I think you'll find, though, that "permanent" means "permanent."

Hi

It looks like you haven't sold in over a year.  Did you sign up for managed payments? There is no more Paypal for payments for sellers.  Paypal is only available to buyers to make purchases.   I do see that you had a few comments where items were allegedly not received.  Not sure that is why your account was restricted.  Go to this link and see if it will help you get re established:

These are US CS agents who work for Ebay and may be able to help with your situation.  Many positive posts here on this forum with their ability to be helpful.

Did you owe ebay money from past sales too/ Anyway, do what the others stated and see if the Facebook Ebay folks can help you.   If they say yes, don't forget to sign up for MANAGED PAYMENTS.  You will need to give ebay your social security number too.  Please , NO ONE here wants to hear that you do not want to do that because it's not safe.  Comply or do not even bother asking to be reinstated.  It's now a law  to provide the social security number to Ebay, Amazon and other selling platforms in the USA

Learn the new policies.  Make sure that you have a bank account and get it verified by Ebay.  You need to set up a backup source incase you don't have enough money in the bank account.  Learn the new postal surcharges too so that you do not lose money on the bigger packages.  Goodluck.

Taking money and not sending out an item seems to be the kiss of death.  Think about it from ebay's perspective - they don't know if that was you planned to do, or if it was an honest mistake.  That simple act was a major turnoff to a buyer.
