Account Closure Without Warning

A friend of mine trades quite heavily on Ebay (their  livelihood)   has had their account suddenly closed without warning and they don't know why. They received an email from Ebay nofifying them of this but giving no reason and he is unable to find out why. Can anybody point us in the right direction as they are in a pretty distressed state and at this point in time they are unable to find anything from Ebay.

You may also want to pass this link on to your friend, as they should be the ones to straighten out their issues with ebay.

Would find it odd that eBay did not give a prior notification before your friends account closure.

Please ask your friend to forward the email he received from eBay to enable you to share that with us through this post.

This may provide some experienced buyers and sellers who respond on this forum to share their experience/ guide your friend.

It is highly unlikely that eBay will close an account suddenly/ without warning unless there was some very serious breach of their rules like but not exclusively things like harmful content or dangerous/ prohibited goods or some other legal/ financial services violation etc.

Your friend can also reach out to eBay's customer services through Help& contact and or through seller help and both of these tabs are located on main page.
