Access Denied

Hi! I wanted to ask if anyone else has gotten an "access denied" message when trying to post a question to another board like buying? It says I don't have privileges. Does anyone know what that means? I've been here since 2007, not sure why I can't ask a question on the buying board, but I can post to this selling one. Thanks! 🙂

Were you responding to another post? It is possible that the post you were responding to, or the thread itself was recently locked or moved (or removed).

In some cases you may get an error if you have not signed in recently; if you are composing a post, try signing in in another tab. If you get an error just after trying to post a message, see if the message was posted; you may get the option to reload your draft if you try to post again. If not, go to your Profile by following the link that drops down when you click on your username in the upper right of the page. If you scroll to the bottom of the profile, you should find unfinished drafts that have not yet posted that you may be able to finish and post.

Certain specific boards have access limitations, although the Buying board is not one of them. Exactly which board is giving you that message (obviously it's not this one), and were you trying to post your own question, or a reply to someone else's? (If you were in the Answer Center rather than a Discussions group like this one, I think they have a limit on the number of replies that can be posted, too.)

Thank you for answering everyone. I think it's some kind of technical glitch. I'm hoping it will go away after a while 🙂
