Accepted Return from Foreign Country -- Buyer Wants more Money than Ebay Requires I Refund Him:

Ebay required I refund the buyer $3.95 plus the cost of the item.

I did, I clicked to refund that amount. Buyer wants me to refund more, for his return shipping.  Am I obligated to refund more?

If I do not, can the buyer neg me and get it to stick?  In the past I have caved to buyers to keep my feedback good.  Must I do it, in this case?

I do not usually sell to foreign countries outside the USA and this is one reason I usually do not

.  Sorry I did, this time.

What reason did they use for the return?  Item not as described?  Don't like?  If INAD then YES you need to pay for return shipping if you want your item back.  If it was for a remorse reason then no you do not have to refund for return shipping.

If you ignore the return for INAD e bay will step in and refund from YOUR monies and NOT require the buyer to send the item back,

All up to you.

If you have already refunded the amount that eBay required, no, you don't have to send them more. Of course you won't get the item back. You're not suppose to refund until after you get the item back.
