Is this considered abusive feedback?
Seller listed items as Very Good and stated CD's were checked and in perfect condition. I received 2 cd's that were VERY BAD. Many bad scratches and unplayable. Sent message but Seller sent back lying excuses. This Seller is DISHONEST AND DECEITFUL. Shouldn't be allowed to sell on Ebay. Gives Ebay a bad reputation as having a low life scrum bag selling. Seller is a LIAR and CHEATER of buyers. Buyers watch out for this TERRIBLE one.

thanks for this great comment-first belly laugh of the day!

I feel like the feedback only tells part of the story
was a return asked for or did the buyer just leave the feedback
you sell plenty of stuff so I am sure you can afford to take back some old CD`s
feedback is what it is and you dont appear to be too bothered by it
like you said it will be buried shortly
the buyer got an opinion stated

You are better off returning the item "not as described" and reporting the seller.

I don't see it as ironic at all -- buyers shopping for high-end name-brand purses on eBay are not likely to be the "typical" buyer for these purses.
Purses? I'm sure your daughter is a nice person, but no one's talking about purses.

The unfairness I see is that @tom-dog33 DOES have a 30-day return policy so the buyer could have returned it.
Based on a previous comments in feedbacks, my opinion is that the seller's descriptions of condition aren't as accurate as they should be.

Besides the irony of that feedback coming from the buyer of a Christian CD, another ironic thing is that perhaps if the buyer used the correct term instead of a "scrum bag" ebay would in fact remove the feedback.
Too funny!

I don't see it as ironic at all -- buyers shopping for high-end name-brand purses on eBay are not likely to be the "typical" buyer for these purses. My daughter was never so pleased as when she received one of these status purses as a birthday gift (not from me, from her now-ex-husband). She hadn't quite reached the place she wanted to be in her career, but she was already out-earning her father and advancing rapidly on her mother. She never ever ever shops on eBay, for anything. Period. End of Discussion. But she's always shops Amazon -- multiple times a month.
My daughter is now a 'typical' buyer for these purses. And she would never be so gauche as to use language as seen in that feedback. The buyer posting that feedback wanted, and quite likely received, a very status purse for a very bargain price (relatively speaking). They then screamed and hollered their way thru a return of their previous status purse (same brand, model, color) and basically showed the world why they are not a 'typical' status purse owner.
I do see the irony... I just don't feel it's that ironic. Someone willing to buy-and-swap is very likely someone who regularly uses that kind of language and behavior to get what they want. The true irony is that eBay sees these folks as "basically good" and continues to allow them to abuse the sellers who supply the inventory that allows eBay to exist.

I think you actually did miss the irony - I almost laughed when I saw what they'd purchased.

This is why I only include an image of the underside of the disk when its super clean to begin with.
This is also why sellers need to be honest about the products they sell. I've always refrained from selling disks that have anything more than very light/minor scratches. You don't want to sell someone a disk and not have it work.
That's correct. Digital media if you magnify it looks like "ridges", the laser basically speaking deflects yielding a zero or one binary value called a "Bit", eight bit's to a "Byte."
A CD has to be in pretty bad shape not to work, music and DVD's often try just drop the bad data unless their is too much of it. Games and such will drop bad reads on some types of data, say ten bytes of an image but can't do that with executable code or the game will lock up, depending on the platform throw a media read exception. Some of those exception can further be ignored but not usually. The reason every gamestop has or send out media for resurfacing.
Electronics Boutique which was a regional chain eventually bought by Gamestop used to used a Drill Press with an offset jig hold the media. Fine quality car polishing sponge mounted to the drill press chuck and they used McGuires fine polishing compound, worked better than any machine I'd ever saw.
I knew the regional manager really well so at any time I could hit any stores backroom and muddle through what was due to be sent out for warehousing and buy any media related titles (Sega CD, PC, Gamecube, PS/1, PS/2 etc) of it for .25 cents on the dollar and I could use the machine to polish any of them up. Looks we'd get were priceless, we walk in with one or two laundry baskets often going to counter with just a calculator running tally because it'd take too much time try cash register it all it. Man we'd clean up that stuff.

I posted this earlier in the thread, but I think it is good to repeat it.
And that Feedback came from a Christian.
I'm sorry, but I can't seem to get past the hypocrisy of that feedback they left against a listing with a title yours had of "WOW Hits Christian Music CD's 2001 2002 2005 2011 And Christmas".
Clearly the buyer has their own issues!!
I do hope Ebay helps you with this one.

You got me - this is what happens when I post too long too late at night. I read an earlier thread about a return of a branded handbag or something like that (I've had the same leather wallet for longer than I can remember).
My Bad!

Yeah... I confused this with another thread and got all confuzzled. I need to quit staying up so late... but it's already 4am, so that's a no-go for tonight. Or is that 'this morning'. <sigh>
At least now everyone knows I'm human and just as fallible as everyone else. I'm hoping that's a good thing?

Just because a buyer purchases Christian CDs does not mean the buyer is a Christian. That's an invalid assumption.
