I know I hate it too,I don't mind their making use GTC but their automatic relistings is crazy. It's costing me money if I forget to END my listings before they expire.

Use an anti-virus program?  Smiley Very Happy

Just kidding (translators and auto-correct can be funny sometimes).

You can't.  You can, however, avoid them by scheduling out your listings or having fewer listings so that you stay under your free listings limit.   You can also end listings early.

Hi,     orange       hound   Now that is a GREAT idea!  In a link here before, someone suggested that people switch things up. GTC, 5 & 10 day auctions. I tried that & keep wondering what if I do not get to the GTC to end them all. Only 2 times out of 4 accounts was I charged for GTC fees. Your idea having fewer listings, yes, WONDERFUL!!! I think it is time for me to open a 5th account. TY orange        hound!!!

You can CUSTOMIZE your Active Selling to include START DATE and END DATE, and then click the TIME LEFT to show the listings with the earliest END DATE.  Sometime before they roll over, you can bulk END those listings you don't want to roll over.

I check daily to see which listings will roll over at the 90 or 120 days, and END them and then relist at a later date so then they become "fresh".

Check you listings, Now that my 250 free listings have expired, I am getting charged for the new listings (where I have not ended them) before the old one ends.  I just got three 25 cent listing charges on things that don't end for another 20 hours.

That is good idea, but we should not have to do that.  Ebay knew this GTC was a money making scam and it is working to perfection.  They are making millions off the backs of ebay sellers who are barely scrapping by.  I just got hit by this scam for about $15.  Think of all the rest of the sellers.  And they lied about how many listing I had remaining.  SCAM I tell you

Well the good thing for you, like me, is that we just learned our lesson, which is DO NOT TRUST EBAY.

I got hit also by these liars and cheats, but never again.

There should be a lawyer involved in the scams and rip offs eBay is pulling. People need to wake up and see what is happening. Between ebay policy and "were sorry for the glitch in the system" sellers are being screwed over all the time. Not easy to catch all the accounting tricks that are pulled. With automatic renewals, automatic returns, automatic payments and any other automation it is easy to hide a charge, fee or small rip off. They have that figured in that a majority of people are not going to find the accounting trick or are not going to waste time trying to correct a few charges that add up to less than $5 or $10. This GTC. **bleep** has opened a big door for them to rip off sellers. Check your account page.... if the "glitch in the system" will allow you.

Who else remembers the gas stations that were charging each customer a single penny more than the correct amount?

It added up to millions of dollars.
