Hi ..... I just opened an eBay store this morning.I was going to list some items for auctions when I found out that it was a .15 cent charge per listing for scheduling (which really sucks by the way).My question is,if I list using the scheduling and then actually list the items before the scheduled time,do I still get charged the .15 cents per listing?
Thanks in advance........ (edtiques)

hi,
when you are about ready to list, go to the bottom left of the screen and it will show the listing fee and if you click on that it will detail the listing fee. i see you have some auctions when a buy it now option. that cost extra unless you have a promo from ebay. also each store subscription has a certain amount of free auction listings but.. they are only free in the collectables and fashion categories. the scheduled listing fee is 10 cents and after you schedule a listing if you go back in and list the item before the scheduled time you will not get charged the scheduled listing fee.
the 0.15 is not a scheduled listing fee, it could be listing an auction not in the collectables or fashion categories or it could be the fee for buy it now.

The 10-cent fee for using the Scheduler is charged only if you actually use it to launch the listing.
Like any other listing upgrade, if you go back and remove it from either a draft or a scheduled listing before launching your listing then you aren't charged for it. The listing fees (insertion and upgrades) are determined at the moment when the listing actually goes live.
EDIT: As lloyd mentioned, 15 cents would be the fee for a non-free-category auction-format listing, or for adding a BIN option (within a certain price range).

Short answer: I don't know.
What we do is use notepad or Word to type in the info and then when we want to list we copy and paste and begin the item immediately. The only problem with this is it messes up our Sunday afternoons! lol
Of course, it should only matter much if you're listing auction items. I think that Buy-it-Now items can list anytime, day or night, and any day.
