An entire month without a single sale despite the approach of March Madness and MLB and with NASCAR, NHL, NBA, and PGA all back on track, It was bad enough that sales seemed to be limited to exactly one per week for the first eight weeks after Christmas, but not a single sports related sale in a month at this time of year is unfathomable.
This account and my 21 year old account were switched to managed payments in December while my two 4 year old spin-off accounts have not received the dreaded invitation and are still attached to paypal. Since Christmas 78% of my sales have been in my spin-off accounts with less listings. I have even transferred listings from my older accounts to one of my spin-offs to have items sell after the transfer.
I don't know what is going on - but I find it strange that it is the accounts in managed payments that are dying.

Not saying that your sales have not slowed down on certain accounts but I wonder why?
Buyers do not know or care that we are in Managed Payments, just what form of payment is accepted.

Maybe if you'd iron your clothes and take better photos you'd have more luck

I am wondering if the search parameters are the same for items that have transitioned over to managed payments especially since items that I have transferred from a MP account to a non-MP account suddenly sell. The MP accounts seem to suddenly need more unnecessary item specifics additions.

I've never ironed a t-shirt in 77 years so I'm not about to start now. Besides they are all folded up for shipping.
My photos are the same less than stellar quality as they have been for the past 21 years and haven't seemed to affect my accounts that are doing better or prior years sales so I doubt that they are the reason sports items suddenly aren't selling this year.

I noticed a drop in sales for a while when I switched. Everyone always says that's not the reason and I predict someone will reply to my post to tell me that again. The only thing I could think of is maybe the change to payment method affected the way listings showed up in search results like Google shopping. After a few weeks it seemed like everything went back to normal.

I'm three months in and things are getting worse - not returning to normal. And normal for me has been the first three months of the year have always been my best quarter of the year until 2020. And now I'm even down from 2020.

If you have some watchers on items try the "send offers to watchers" feature or lower some prices for a few days to make a couple sales.
Items with no watchers sometimes I will end them and relist. That seems to jump start sales sometimes.
Those things have helped me to get some sales momentum going again.
