I'm currently experiencing a sales slump immediately following the item specific disaster created by ebay. The biggest flaw I see with how it is probably directly tied to my drop in sales is that even though when the listing was created, I chose the category as Women's Clothing, NONE of my listings have WOMEN DEPARTMENT selected! Not to mention they are missing size and almost always another important detail which would allow buyers to find my items. Since it is fruitless to edit by bulk in item specifics because so many filters are missing and I'm completely unaware of which ones, I am going through and editing them ONE BY ONE. And this is how I am spending my free time, my coffee breaks and it is only allowing me to half-watch my favorite evening television show. My question is, when eBay FINALLY "fixes" this mess they have created for their sellers, am I going to have to re-fix?? They say it will be resolved "within a few weeks," but I cannot go "a few weeks" with dismal sales!! eBay: YOU HAVE CREATED TOO MANY OPTIONS IN ITEM SPECIFICS. IT IS MAKING IT HARDER FOR BUYERS TO FIND WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR!!!!!!!!

Yikes I feel bad for the people who sell clothing. Even if you could somehow magically fix all your listings at 3 minutes a piece you are looking at 16 hours of work. I am not even aware if they have actually fixed the issue 100% yet due to their lack of transparency. I think it is pathetic eBay can screw things up this bad and not do anything to make it right. Granted there was that whole fiasco many years back when the whole site broke and it was nearly impossible to get the credits they offered to make things right.

Clothing it my main line too and this has been really life sucking. I have not found a quick way to make my listings relaunchable when trying to relist. I really don't see these Item Specifics, when they are finally glitch free, offering any improvement whatsoever to the buyer experience. They are just a big headache.
For instance:
Making SKIRT LENGTH (Mini/Short/Knee Length/Midi/Long) mandatory is ridiculous to anybody who knows that these length categories are wholly dependent on how long a woman's thigh is. What's mini on one woman is knee length on another.
Requiring that I select a category like Clothing/Women/Women's Clothing/Skirts and then inviting me to select from 'departments' like Baby/Boys/Girls/Men/Women simply gives seller's an opportunity to end up with a SNAD complaint and make absurd choices.
Requiring me to select a Style for pants and then offering Leggings not once, but twice in the list - just sloppy!
And don't get me started on RISE which offers the hilarious definition in the Pants category of "Designates the rise of a a clothing bottom (slacks, shorts, skirt)" - uhhh.... the definition of Rise is not Rise and moreover skirts don't have a 'rise'.
and so on and so on, ad improvementum.

Oh and no, that wasn't a typo on my part:
Designates the rise of a a clothing bottom (slacks, shorts, skirt)
