I know you are not new to eBay, but it appears you may be new to selling here. If that is the case then you will have selling limits as a new seller.

If you are new to selling here, eBay puts selling limits on your account to help you grow your business in a manageable way and to ensure you can give your buyers great service. As you get more comfortable meeting buyer demand, eBay will increase your limit.

Until you show that you have a track record of delivering on time and customers being satisfied and not a lot of returns filed against you, it will be difficult to get eBay to increase your limits.

My son has been buying here since 2013 and just recently started selling and it has been two months, sold about 30 items I think and he hasn't received an increase yet. He has shown the ability to deliver on time and he hasn't had any requests for a return or item not as described.

However, it doesn't hurt to try and request an increase.

Here is the link to eBay's selling limits page, where you can request for an increase there.

If this isn't the case and you have been selling here for awhile now, then I suggest contacting eBay.

You can send an email message to eBay. Email has been hit and miss with the COVID-19 crisis.

Here is the link:

https://www.ebay.com/help/account/contacting-ebay-customer-service/contacting-ebay-customer-service?...

The email option is at the bottom of the link.

Or you can reach out to customer service using social media:

eBay on Facebook

eBay on Twitter

Social media worked for me. Got an answer and resolution to my issue fairly quickly.  The CSR ended up calling me. It wouldn't hurt to leave a contact number.

Hope this helps!

Remember the limit is 50 total listings, not 50 new listings. So if you listed 50 items last month and sold 15 of them with 35 listings continuing: you can only add 15 new listings.

Hi, if you are new to selling, or have sold previously in the past and recently began selling again after an absence,  then the chances are very good that you will have selling limits imposed on your account. This is like a probationary period where you establish competent handling of matters to show you will be an asset to the selling community. Below is a link that goes into greater detail.
