2017 tax question

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but, I have a question for those who have to report their ebay selling on their taxes. I haven't had a problem gathering all of my numbers for the year except for the amount I paid in postage.

Is their a way I can look that up through ebay or paypal? I'm really hoping there's a better option than for me to add up each one indivually.

You can  run PayPal transaction reports on the keyword USPS to get your total postage purchased. You can only do  intervals up to 90 days each, but each report will give you a total.

If you use a database or spreadsheet to keep track of your selling, you can download the csv files from both eBay and PayPal. Once you have imported the information, you can search and sort for various fields.

It also protects you if eBay or PayPal age off your information (or lose it in a data crash). It's not wise to rely on other companies to keep track of your files.

If your volume is low, it doesn't make a big difference, but if you have regular or semi-regular sales, consider downloading the information.
