I have sold close to the 20,000 and 200 transactions this year but I am not a managed payment seller yet. Will I get a 1099-k or does it start over when I become a managed payment seller?

Does it really matter? By law you have to report your income either way. Having a 1099 makes very little difference to filing. It just gives you something else to reconcile to.

If PayPal processes more than 200 transactions that are worth over $20K, then you will get a 1099-K from PayPal.
If eBay/Adyen processes more than 200 transactions that are worth over $20K, then you will get a 1099-K from them.

While PP is your money processor, they will be responsible to issue the 1099K for 2020 if you meet the thresholds for it.
When you move to MP, then MP becomes responsible. But only for what is processed through them. If you meet the thresholds in the balance of the year you will also get a 1099K from them.
There won't be any duplication here. PP will report what was processed through them and Mp will report what is process through them. They do not EVER comingle.
