0 views on items that have watchers

So I get on my listings page to see how many views I have had on a few newly listed items.    Well all of my items have reset or changed to 0 views.    The watchers are still showing up,  but 303 items in my store is showing 0 views.   Would any of you know why?

Although it is possible to watch an item without opening the listing to view it, it sounds like eBay is not displaying the correct view numbers in this case.
