Does Ebay have any liablilty when they allow a seller to list and sell items that have been altered that create a dangerous condition for the public? i.e. One of their sellers sold me tires that the seller ground down the lettering to hide the name of the manufacturer to the point the sidewall bubbled as they were being installed. Imagine if you have a 17 year old new driver and this didn't get caught, the tires were mounted and the tire blew on the highway resulting in a death. Is Ebay liable? when Ebay is informed by buyers and it falls on deaf ears where does one go to help in protecting the public? anyone? Buhler?
