Begging all sellers to STOP using eBay immediately **Rant**

This place has gone to complete **bleep**. I recently sold an iPad mini with no locks on the iPad or iCloud. The buyer messages me saying there is a MDM (mobile device management) on it and even let me know the name of the company who managed it. Now granted I overlooked this, it doesn’t render the iPad completely. I told the buyer I couldn’t do anything remotely but I would be happy to refund him if he started a case and go though it properly. He let me know he would if he couldn’t get someone to bypass it.

Buyer finally opens a case to which I immediately accept it and supply him with a label. eBay then steps in the next day and says they are putting a hold on the case to get more info. Ok cool whatever.

fast forward to Monday and I wake up saying that the case was closed in the buyers favor because he supplied info from local law enforcement stating he received an empty box. **bleep**???? I immediately call and put in a dispute request with eBay since the buyer messaged me with exact specifics of the iPad which he obviously has in front of him I knew it was a load of **bleep**. Within an hour I get an email stating they were staying with the original decision. So I call again and ask to dispute it again. The agent agrees and puts in the request.

Fast forward to today and guess what? Yup, another denial email. Who the hell is overseeing these appeals, Helen Keller?

So again today I call to express my displeasure with the matter and ask yet again why they aren’t looking at the evidence that he had the item IN HIS HANDS. So now I wait yet again for this time a call from the dispute department.

After this I’m 100% done with eBay. Not worth it anymore. Seller protection my ass.
