dishonest buyer

being to trusting of an ebay member gary57111 who has good feedback i issued a refund for 340.00$ and left positive feedback before i received my item back that he wanted to return for basically bogus reasons. one month or so later he has not answered numerous emails , two inquires from ebay and has not sent back the item. it seems he went the despicable route of getting free merchandise at someone else's expense.

in hindsight i see how foolish it was for me to accommodate with a refund so quickly. 

i have over 500 transactions and had never had a return before. looking for guidance

I really have no good news for you I am afraid.

The number 1 rule for selling is do not send an item before being paid

The number 2 rule for selling is do not refund an item before you have it back in your possession

I have no idea how you can recover your item from this buyer now, sorry

Since you refunded before the item was returned, there's not much you can do to get the item back.
