advanced search not consistant

On advanced search, the search querry sometimes carrys over from the basic search, and sometimes it does not, and I have to re-enter the item.

Is there any way to force the carry-over to be consistant?

Not a major problem, just an irritation!

The second browser bookmarklet in post #7 of the following may do the trick (haven't checked to see if eBay's most recent tinkering with adv search has broken the bookmarklet though)
