Using the out-of-stock-option option

Hello! How can I disable the out-of-stock-option permanently. For me, the check mark appears again and the sold items reappear in the list after each restart of the application, although I manually turn off the option for each session - account -> site prefferences -> uncheck YES/NO -> apply.

Hello @zhenya_82* ,

Can you just confirm that while you have the box "unchecked" for out of stock option and you drop a listing's quantity to 0, are you saying it remains active but hidden from buyers OR does it actually end the listing when you drop the quantity down to 0 or buyers purchase your items which results in the quantity being dropped to zero?

I look forward to your reply.

Until recently, turning stock-control on or off went to an error page, although the underlying function had been successfully performed.  I just turned off my stock control and got an acknowledgement checkmark at the top of the screen (instead of the prior error page). The whole page must reload to display that green checkmark. Does yours reload after you click "Apply" and do you then see the green success label at the top?

When I close the accounts page and again load my account settings, the box remains unchecked. I closed and reopened the page twice to be sure (I do not have any zero-stock listings to test at the moment).  I then went through the same process to turn it back on again, and again received the green success label at the top, and reloaded that page again to confirm.   I am using Firefox.

Have you cleared your cache and cookies to see if that resolves the issue? Your browser may still be loading the old code. Have you tried another browser?

Unfortunately No, after unchecking and confirming with "apply" an error message appears, always the same for several months already 😞Annotation 2020-09-03 085852.jpg

Yes, that was the old error message page. Have your cleared your browser cache and cookies?

What browser are you using?

How to clear your cache

http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cache

Clearing your browser cache will make page loading a little slower at the beginning until you rebuild the cache with often-used pages and images.

How to clear your cookies

http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser%27s-Cookies

Clearing your browser cookies will remove all log-in info and you will have to log in again to all your sites. If you want to preserve your prior log-in info, then don't clear your cookies in one batch. Look for the option to delete individual cookies and delete only your eBay cookies.
