I tried listing again yesterday. only four listings got completed because of the hassle.
I truly tried to list with the best of intentions and with a fresh open mind:
1. adding a handling charges takes 7 clicks and 5 different popups to activate! and forever to even find it
2. changing from flat rate to calculated causes all info to be dumped out and you must start over
3. still cant reference any part of the listing flow when in a dumb popup box so how can you add info to item specific if you cant see it?- customer service rep actually (jokingly) said i should get out a pen and write it down on paper so i can see it when i go to add to item specifics! lol
4. picture edit in a box as well so you cant reference your other pictures while cropping- just keep everything on the main page like classic and every other website on the planet
5. item specifics does save and close when you type and hit enter... just erases your work
6. have to hit DONE button to move on
7. 2 extra clicks and a message scolding us if we want to change the size of our font - annoying- just put it there
8. limited color choices are approved for color blind people but not sighted people so they are all just a shade off of black and there is no RED that shows up to grab buyers attention or highlight defects
9. Shipping section has the most hidden features and most popups that is terrible to navigate- to open features you must hunt and search for the correct "see more" carrot and IN THE CORRECT ORDER or you will never have access to things like - flat rate shipping, handling charge, add more than one service, etc
10. item condition now lets you select new or used from the main page- thanks!, but if you want refurb, new other, parts/not working- you still must click a popup box to access- SO CLOSE to getting it right- just give us all options please- that is what efficiency is
11. Shipping section does not give us the option to show buyer ebay shiiping rates or retail rates so what the heck is ebay showing them?- had a question about a $75 shipping charge yesterday to go 15 miles down the road! actual cost was $39!!
12. This tool take too much control of our listings away from us- we drive the sales on ebay with our product and listings- you need to stop dumbing down the tool and give us a reason to continue to list here
A compliment as well-
1. It looks like it automatically strips out html links when you cut and paste info from a website- AWESOME- it does that without even asking and in the background without screwing up what i cut and pasted.- A nice improvement for sure instead of having the listing checker tool after the fact.
2. i like the import pictures from phone feature. it worked 75% of the time but it is nice- I wont use it often but its nice to have.
