Forgive my inability to search for similar post issues, a TL backaup restoration is monopolizing all my computer's resources. It took a half hour to get a browser open and get here.
Problem:
I got ready to load listings, clicked to add 25 items into the upload folder, edited price, clicked to calculate the price, and waited for the clock to upload at the right time. Went back to upload, and the top three listings were blank across the name, duration, price, etc., every category. Clicked to upload before comprehending, and the program crashed immediately.
Things that did not work:
I reopened the program, it dumped out of the username, I clicked over, it opened into the upload folder, if I click anything in that folder it immediately crashes. I can go back to the lisitng library folder, everything is there, but as soon as I go into the upload folder, it immesiately crashes. Especially fast if I attempt to delete the items out of the upload folder.
I uninstalled and reinstalled TL. Same problem.
I can go into another username and it seems normal, but does not access the 1,400 listings I have written.
I restored my most recent backup and it crashed immediately.
I am attempting to restore an earlier backup, which will lose 200 listings, current pricing, current inventory, any re-edits...
Is this a known issue with any known solution?
Lovely program. Click something, it sits there and procrastinates for 4+ hours while sucking up all the memory and processing capacity before executing any command.

Try to run Turbo, if it is not on the correct userid, click on File>Change user. Has it crashed? If not, immedaitely, click on Tools>Compact databases. If that crashes, do not worry, immediately restart Turbo and repeat. I have never seen the Compact fail twice.
Now if Turbo crashes when you try to change users, you need more expert help, than I can give, without my hands on the keyboard...

Over the past four days, I managed to get the program to restore an older database backup into a new user profile. Then went into the crashing profile (without touching the upload folder) and individually exported all of the new and recently edited listings from the library folder, and imported them into the new profile. It looks like I have not lost anything.
(Tip for restoring a backup: Wait another four hours after the program goes to blank screen before giving up and trying over. You click to restor a backup, it sits and idles for four hours before bringing up the little progress bars to show it is doing something, and does that for a couple hours. Then it brings up another window and all of the windows and dialog boxes for TL go blank. You think it must be an error warning on the new blank window telling you it crashed, but it's not. Wait another four hours, all thed blank windows and boxes return, and the database shows up under a new user profile name.)
OK, so I did go into the crashing user profile and click to compact. And it immediately crashed. Reopend it, had to select the user profile because it had cleared it off during the crash, and clicked to compact again. And it immediately crashed a second time.

That's a new one, never seen the Compact crash twice, but try one more. If that does not help, you need more expert help than I can deliver...
