Hey community,
I have been selling on ebay for a long time but have not been selling for the last 5 years and am getting back into it. I am selling some collectibles I have and will hopefully have 75- 100 listings when I get everything uploaded.
Is there anyone out there that has sold on the auction/listing platform that has now started a store?
I am looking to see what the benefits are of having the store verses just listing everything individually. Does it save any time? what else do you like?
Thank you and happy selling!

If you have enough listings, yes it may make sense but from what you are stating what you have, i would say its not worth it at this time. If you did want to dip your foot in the water once you get more listings, i would say try it for a month instead of subscribing for a year. There are some benefits with free listings and discounts but you will need more listings to make it worth it. IMHO
Here is a link to Ebay store fees.

Thank you! That's kind of what I figured, but thought I'd ask some with experience

Your welcome. I had a store when i was selling and it helped me for various reasons.
I could list up to 10,000 CD/DVD listings which was great because at that time i did list a lot of them.
Also i had over 1,000 listings and had regular sales each day that made it make sense to enroll in the Basic store.
The free account does give you enough free listings from where your at and some may suggest you open another account (which you can do on Ebay) to give you more free listings. Having two accounts can be used to purchase on one account and sell on the other. YMMV
