I am unable to access Turbo Lister today. When it tries to load it only gets so far and this says Turbo Lister Not responding. I can't get to any files or backups at all. Any suggestions.

You have a small bit more listings than TL is designed to hold and work with successfully. I have about twice your number of listings and have constant issues with TL. I do have enough experience with TL to deal with it.
You must Compact!! often! Tool>Compact databases. This keeps the databases in good repair.
Since your TL will not even start, Mykal will probably suggest a complete version update. Hope you have backup files. Let eBay tell you to do this, do not go by my advice on this. They may know magic or miracles to help you. I am not a saint, and my magic act is...well...not.
Once TL is running for you again, Compact!!, at least every day.

Did you try running it as Administrator? Whenever it gets subborn for me that is what I do.

No, I've never done that. Would you mind telling me how to do that please?

When I do it, I just right click on the Turbo Lister icon on the desktop and then choose Run As Administrator. Then it usually opens right up.

Thank you for trying to help. I did as you said and what was said on another thread with similar advice. Unfortunately even after restarting my computer this too did not work. I've used TL for many years. I've never had this problem before. Certainly other problems that I've been able to resolve, but not this one it appears.

Thank you for the advice and I will certainly compact more often if I can get TL back. However, I've been running TL for YEARS and at times had more in it than I do now and I've never had this problem. I never have compacted as often as you, but I have done it from time to time.

I sent an email into the TurboLister team for some help on this matter yesterday. This morning I received a phone call and they were fantastic. I was walked through how to fix the problems step by step. With easy to understand instructions. She was wonderful. And now I can use my TL again.
As it turns out I had a couple of problems, but one was too much data stored in TL. So the other poster was correct. The lack of cleaning up your TL and/or compressing the data can lead to all kinds of problems. As a rule of thumb, TL is only set up to handle approximately 2-3 thousand listing, templates, etc. So any more than that it will slow down and can lead to problems such as I've experienced.
Good luck everyone. As of now my problem is fixed. Thank you to all that came to assist me. I greatly appreciate it.

I don't think I found it on Ebay. And I'm not sure I still have it. If you have time, stop in at the Weekly Chat this week and ask for it. I certain one of the guys can get it for you.
