Image Hosting and cubeupload.com

Does anyone use cubeupload.com to host their images? I've been using them for the last two years to host my images and they have been very reliable with only a couple of disruptions. The webmaster immediately posted updates on their twitter page as to what the situation was and the ETA of when the website would be back on-line.

Last night, I noticed the website went down. It's been almost 24 hours and there has not been a single post on the company twitter page. That alone is quite unusual. Just wondering if anyone has heard any news about their continued operation? They have been around as far as I know, since 2008. I would be surprised if they would go out without a word.

If the worst has happened, then I am certainly not looking forward to uploading to a new host and editing the image URL's for 250 listings!

Is there a particular image hosting site that members recommend? I used photobucket for a couple of years but ditched them when they began asking for US $400 per year. Before them I used another (whose name escapes me) for about 5 years, but they also became unreliable.

When photobucket started charging $399 per year, I also looked for a new photo host.  I found USE.COM and just recently noticed that my photos hosted there are no longer displayed.  I went to their website and discovered they will no longer be in business.  No explanation.  Now I am looking for another photo host.

No need to individually edit each listing.  Just use the Bulk Edit And Replace option.  That is what I plan to do when I find a new host.

Me too. I used Use.com and now I am looking for another free hosting service.
