I have to recreate listings every 90 days - how is this convenient?

I came to download this ancient tool because a while ago, an eBay rep told me this was the only tool I could use to retain my listing photos and description for more than 90 days. Sometimes I get inventory in that I haven't listed for several months. Then it just all *Poof* disappears and I have to reupload pics - it's ridiculous. How do I get around this obvious pain point?

Hello @home_mobile ,

Thank you for your post and question. We have been working with a company called SixBit Software where they created a tool very similar to Turbo Lister that keeps your listings on your computer for later posting.  I recommend signing up with their 6 months trial as a Turbo Lister user. Best wishes and I hope you are safe.

Sixbit  is not free after 6 months and is a pain to adapt to. ebay promised to include TL's features into seller hub. Since they did not they should pay for any subscription to sixbit indefinitely. Such poor seller support!

Are you utilizing out-of-stock control? A good-til-cancelled item can remain out of stock for up to 90 days (recently increased to 180 days) without delisting. You would pay the insertion fee each month the listing is hidden, but that might be cheaper than recreating the listing when you get fresh inventory.

More money for eBay...less seller support! A colossal ripoff! Too bad we can't rate eBay like buyers rate us!

You can use Selling Manager Pro. Keeps track of your inventory listed or unlisted and up to 20 templates per product. Hope this helps.

@shipscript hmmm, you're post is very interesting.  I don't use stock control b/c I sell one-offs, for the most part.  But I DO list seasonally & I am (was) a 20 year TL user.  This is a really interesting idea & with 180 day, it would solve my seasonal listing storage issue.

Is there any reason why I can't use stock control for one-offs?  The stock would always be 1 or 0.  IDK enough about it to know if this would be allowed?  Any help would be appreciated.

Stock control is an intriguing proposition. Yes, you can use it for one-off items. Many have discovered how to use stock control to go on vacation or to recover from a canceled sale; and one seller, who handmakes one-of-a-kind items, uses it to repopulate the listing with the next very similar, but not absolutely identical, item, thus maintaining watchers and purchase history.

Nearly my entire inventory is one-offs and it works for me. My stock level is always 1 or zero but I think one could use a more general item term such as bottle opener vs each specific one. I haven't played around with that yet?

I haven't had any trouble or issues using the system. I found that you can also add item to inventory even if it's already sold or listed which I found nice since I don't always put my inventory in before I list.
