That's why I think eBay found a bug or vulnerability and suddenly switched back. They'll fix whatever was the issue, and then it will probably be available again.

There was a trial for a new "chat" version of eBay messages, which was working last week, and that trial version is no longer accessible to me. Perhaps eBay had to disable it due to some bug that must be fixed.
