Since yesterday I have been unable to upload files via file exchange. Each time I get the following error 10007 "Error - Internal error to the application." I have read on old board that seems to be an error on eBay side of things not mine. Can someone look into this issue.
Thanks
Kris

@alex021902 - Thank you for sharing and posting this on this community board thread. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this error through File Exchange.
You are right in that this error does have something to do with our system. The message pretty much states that our system isn't able to process the file completely (Internal Error). There are a number of reason why our system can't process the file, some aren't so details or obvious.
I can help look into this for you. Here are a few things that you can help our system by looking into the file you are uploading:
1. Verify that the headers and data that is provided in your file matches up with File Exchange.
2. Old or invalid headers can cause our system to fail to process the file due to not being able to recognize the headers as to be current or valid.
**Note: 1 and 2 can be due to using certain programs to generate a CSV file to upload to File Exchange such as Turbo Lister. Turbo Lister is an eBay tool that allows you to export listings that has the option to generate a File Exchange CSV file. The issue with this file is that will contain old or invalid header that our File Exchange or our API no longer uses or recognize. When our File Exchange system doesn't recognize a file, it causes the file to process too long and our system will give the error you are seeing. The way to prevent this is to either remove headers that aren't being used or invalid. I would compare the file that I used a tool to generate with the File Exchange sample files.**
3. Having too many variations or invalid variation combination can also cause this error. **Note: If variation information is not structured properly, it can also cause a random error to occur.**
4. As mentioned in the notes. Too many unused headers can cause a delay in our system from reading the file can also cause this "Internal Error" message.
Please review your file and cross reference the file to the information I have provided to see if any of these situations applies to you.
I'm happy to provide you with further assistance if you continue to have issues.
If you need more help. Please share with us your process of generating a CSV file to upload to File Exchange.
Sincerely,
