[File Exchange] Most practical way to get Views Data to Excel

Currently, I copy and paste directly from the Ebay active listings page, 200 items at a time. Then have some formulas that pull out the views info. This isn't the most practical thing when inventories can reach in to the multiple thousands.

[File Exchange] Most practical way to get Views Data to Excel

@fredspremiumcloset - Thank you for posting on this Community board thread.

I'm sorry that this information isn't downloadable.

The information that is downloadable are only listing information that is generally set and not always changing such as Title, Price, and quantity.

The "view" detail isn't used much of means of reporting the success of your listings. If you are looking to get data of how many views, clicks, and purchases, you may want to use an actual trafficking tool/report.

Our Seller Hub page can show you this type of traffic, but it also doesn't have a downloading function. A suggestion has been submitted to hopefully improve this aspect of the "Traffic" reports.

One reason why the "Views" details is inconclusive is that the number can be incorrect to show the true views. Even if you as a seller view your item, it will track this.

This information that you are looking to have falls under the same as Watchers and Questions. Not available for downloads.

If you must have this information, we can submit an improvement ticket to make this type of data available. As to any improvement request, the more need for a feature, the higher possibility it can be implemented or reviewed as a "Must have".

Please feel free to reply to this post.

Sincerely,

Yes I would be interested in putting this in as a feature request. Being able to update price based on popularity is powerful to me. Even despite its known bugs such as sometimes unpopular items get hundreds of views in a day for no reason. Making the "View" data more accurate would be excellent.
