File Exchange Car Parts Vehicle Compatibility List/AutoFillListingInfo

Hi there, since i am new to the community i have a big problem.I want to know how to add the vehicle compatibility list to a file exchange file.

I am trying to make a template to list multiple car parts from varius categories but i cannot import the compatible vehicles or the item infos from the ebay database.

Is there a way to make this happen ?

Thank You very much

File Exchange Car Parts Vehicle Compatibility List/AutoFillListingInfo

This is an unusual request from a member with 1 positive feedback and no listed items. Add to that, the fact that you are registered on the US site but have a Greek address. That is no big deal, but what site are you going to list on and about how many parts are you going to list? I am not just being nosy, this could affect the answer I give.

Have you use FileExchange before?

I would suggest you add to your template the fields Product:UPC or Product:EAN. Also add the fields (if you are not using a category specific template), C:UPC or C:EAN. C:Brand and C:MPN should be required fields, no matter what template you use.

Now for Vehicle Compatabilty, ses pages 27-30 of the FileExchange Advanced Instructions. Page 28 will tell you how to select a template. Note that the instructions on page 28 to selct a template, will return an error page. Seems that that page is not available today. So use the link to the EPID tool, on page 30, which is also not available today.

@mypaymentstestHow can this member access the EPID and Parts Compatability tools?

@thanostavro0The instructions are overdue for an update. They are from Oct 2015, and links may have changed. The above link to Mykal may return some answers, when the Advanced Apps team is available for comment.

Until then, follow the instuctions in the Advanced Instructions to format (manually) your vehicle compatabilty template.
