Can I delete it from the server it was generated from?
Thank you!

I started looking through your file....
ConditionID: 1000
Format: FixedPrice
ShippingCostPaidByOption: Buyer
Location: (zip may not be accepted here - you might substitute the next instead)
PostalCode: 65605

Updated those and will let you know the results. Thanks!

Results:
"Error - You have entered invalid start price or Buy It Now price.|"
Here's what I have but I'm using FixedPrice.
*StartPrice 11.98
BuyItNowPrice 11.98

You'll probably make it through to shipping next.
ShippingType: Flat (ok)
ShippingService-1:Option: (from table on pg 137 at bottom of user manual)
ShippingService-1:Cost: (0 if free)

Drop BuyItNow since that is for auctions. The filter is expecting BIN to be 30% higher than the start price, or something like that.

But what I have was called an error for the Buy it Now. It's not fixed yet.
I make those other changes in the meantime.

Okay! Sorry.

Which post do I mark accept as solution?
I bet you really want to get off the computer. I so appreciate the handholding.
Now to try to tackle those variations. Soon. 🙂

Congratulations!!!
Now we know your system functions, and the variation listings will involve tackling the variation formatting.

@shipscript I'm going to "unlist it" or something because it needs work. Please let me know when to disable it.

Yes, thank you so much!
(Should I ask Dolly about variations or bother you some time? lol)

The only way to "unlist" is to end the listing. We can still see what needs to be seen. (Or, you can use out-of-stock to hide the listing, and we won't be able to see it).
What aspect of fiddling got you past the initial rejection? That was our stumbling point. Was it changing the UTF8 to ISO or was it changing some incomplete data fields to finally get your first error message?

Definitely the csv formatting was a big stumbling block since it added the caret and quotes and I was using UTF-8.
Then filling out the fields properly took some doing. I took as much info as I could "interpret" from the File Exchange Advanced Instructions but I didn't enter the correct info for the *ConditionID, I typed out FixedPrice as Fixed price, which was wrong, and I didn't have anything in
ShippingService-1:Option and ShippingService-1:Cost
and I had a value in the BuyItNow field. I deleted that.

@shipscript I think the short answer was changing from UTF-8 to western ISO-8859-1 because after we fixed that, I proceeded to the next errors which were minor in comparison.

Then I think you should mark your above comment as the answer.
Changing the spreadsheet format from UTF-8 to western ISO-8859-1 eliminated the "abandoned job" messages and allowed you to begin processing data errors detected within the file.
