Without knowing when you created your drafts, I do know that if you do not access or modify a draft within 30 days since last touching the draft, it gets deleted. This may not be your situation but I hope you find this helpful knowledge.
Also, if there was something in your drafts that were not compatible with the new update, this might have erased or hidden your drafts. If you use a computer to log into eBay.com and go to your drafts, and they are there, this would prove my idea. Try logging into your account using a computer and check out if the drafts are there.
