With USPS's latest round up cost increases and changes, we need to update our shipping costs yet again or we will feel the wrath on Monday.
This mostly pertains to our international shipping costs.
I would utilize these two fields for updating my Int'l shipping on my items. I just need to change the first field/option:
IntlShippingService-1: Option (USPSFirstClassMailInternational)
IntlShippingService-1:Cost (+3.00)
Can I use a plus or minus sign in front of the shipping cost to tell it to increase or decrease the existing value by that amount? In this example, I want to increase the shipping cost by $3 for Intl Shipping Service 1.
Let me know if anyone needs clarification on what I'm trying to do. Thank you for any assistance! 🙂

@lighthouse-leds - Thank you for posting your concerns on this matter.
I'm sorry to say that this process that you are wanting to try would be an invalid action/value through File Exchange. Our system would fail the file because +3.00 would be an invalid amount.
Please think of File Exchange as a bulk replace tool when it comes to editing shipping details. Since File Exchange uses extension of Excel to process data feeds, our system will just take the data that you provide in the file and apply it to your listings.
If your shipping cost for International is going to be the same, you can just provide the exact cost the for the shipping for each of your listings. If you use Calculated shipping for International, this won't work for the IntlShippingService-"n":1:Cost, since the header will be ignore when it comes to Calculated shipping.
What you can do is opt into the eBay Business policies and update your "Shipping Policy" to apply the new shipping cost. This may be a better solution for you than using File Exchange.
If you need more information on this, please feel free to reply back to this post.
Sincerely,

Here is where the problem is though. When you have 2000 listings and you CAN'T export the current shipping rate in to an excel file then it makes it extremely difficult to modify the shipping charges to relfect changes in the USPS rates. Does this make sense?
If I could export the int'l rates in to an excel file then this would be super easy. I just don't understand how eBay can be so large, have removed all the good tools for managing things like this, and NOT provide a good way to handle data. I can do this in amazon in a matter of a few minutes with an export, run somthing in excel to modify my values and then upload the update file. SUPER EASY. Sad thing is, ebay has been around for SO long and it still doesn't have the necessary tools for sellers. VERY FRUSTRATED RIGHT NOW.
