CSV File Exchange Help - Uploading Products

I'm very new to mastering CSV files. EBays help isn't the most user friendly for beginners, and there are pages to trawl through. I have managed to download and then re-upload prices change files succesfully, but I'd like to make my task of populating my shop easier with File Exchange. I followed the instructions as best as I could using the "Basic template (no item specifics)" and filled in the required fields and some of the optional ones. I added VerifyAdd to the first column, so that I could review the listing, if it had been succesful. It wasn't - this is my download error messages;

Anybody able to help? I noticed eBay had helped other users directly on here, if thats the case you'll be able to see my upload.

Thanks

CSV File Exchange Help - Uploading Products

It appears you have issues with linefeeds. Probably in your description. Each time FE sees a linefeed, it processes the previous line (error) then tries to process the next (no valid action).

This usually happens when descriptions are copy/pasted from a word processing program.

A dead giveaway is to look at the Upload results page. How many "Actions" are listed for the file. If it is way more than the number of lines in the file, linefeeds are the culprit.

The description needs to be all one line. If you wish to format the description, use html commands, such as <br> for a line break.

Note that for eBay to see the file, it is best to include the upload reference number of the file. Yes, they can see your last files, etc, but when you include the ref#, you and eBay are on the same 'page'.
