Bulk editing policies

In my description I list all my basics policies. I want to change those statements.  I have a new, nicely worded policy statement written up. I just don’t know if I can bulk edit of not.  Your guidance would be most appreciated.  Thanks

Bulk editing policies

The bulk editor will work if the same text is being removed or changed, but only if it is 100% identical down to each character.

I would remove almost everything that is part of your current statement. You definitely must remove the social media handles, and some other parts are unenforceable or violate other policies (shipping insurance is for you as the seller and you cannot charge the buyer extra after the sale for it, nor do they need it because they have the Money Back Guarantee).

Suggestions -- get rid of some of your "policies:"

"Returns are not accepted."

Yes they are if your buyer claims (honestly or not) that an item is NAD (not as described)

"If the package arrives damaged, photograph before opening in case the product is also damaged. This covers you."

Not necessary, not required and because the buyer is protected 100% of the time, this is a total waste of time.

"Gifts are returnable up to 30 days after receipt. "

You have a "no return policy" but if gifts are returnable, why not just change your return policy so any item can be returned?

"I recommend insurance on all packages over $100. This is an additional cost. If you would like insurance please advise before making payment so I can get the exact cost to your location."

Not allowed! If you want to insure packages, add the cost of insurance to your shipping charge or build it into the price of the item. You cannot charge even 1 cent over what the listing charges!

"I am the sole caregiver for my 96 year old mother with dementia. She comes 1st.  II will let you know if for any reason there’s a delay in shipping because of my mother’s health."

It's commendable that you care for your elderly mother but if you consistently have late shipments outside your handling time, ebay doesn't care about the reason. Your account will be dinged.

"I reserve the right to refuse shipment to any area where delivery could be affected by current political or situational activities."

If a buyer pays and ebay says to ship, you should NOT cancel. That'll be the death of your account.
