I thought maybe it was me, but nope, as usual it is the tried and true ebay system...
So I am setting here revising items (still) to update into all the "NEW" listing information and to upgrade the pics using ebay's picture enhancement tools which by the way I Highly recommend. So I have grown accustomed to proof reading it after I revise the list after all it is ebay....so the 1st one I did tonight went fine, but when doing the second one, which was different from the 1st one, after I finished it and began proof reading it started with the main title and then from there was a mixture of the previous updated item and the current one I was working on, luckily I was working thru two windows and could still retrieve the correct info of the 2nd one and correct what ebay screwed up....2nd one fixed, so I think ok lets pay close attention and do a 3rd and sure enough it started out as the listing I was working one but ended up mixed up with the 1st one I had updated???? So what used to take about 2-3 minutes to update now will take 15Plus minutes as you sort out and correct what ebays bot monster changed...so I am done with revisions they will stay the way they are......be aware of this as it can create a real havoc if you did not pay close attention and revised an item and assumed it was revised the way you revised it and let it run live and when a buyer purchases it well you can only begin to imagine the numerous issues that will create....the problem with bots is they can replicate but do not comprehend as the mind does, whereas you realize the mistakes like this example, the bots are clueless right or wrong....

I'm trying to condense the info from your post.
1) You are revising existing listings:
- Bulk revision or one at a time?
- Which listing tool?
2) You are editing the item specifics and photos?
3) When you save, old data is saved.
- Is data reverted back to the pre-revision original?
- or is the wrong data from some other listing that you are also revising?
Can you capture screenshots of the before, the revised, and the after?
Without additional info, here is my first guess. When revising a listing, the existing data needs to load into the listing tool. Not all data loads at the same time. While changing one section, another section could still be loading. If the sections that are still loading are manually edited first, and then the original data finally does load, the old data will overwrite the new changes. Can you watch to see if that is happening?

Iv seen more than one person refer to item specifics being like playing wack-a-mole as they keep going blank or changing as you try to speed through them..

Here is what is transpiring. I start out with a listing that is similiar, take Hot Wheels for example a 70 hemicuda(I am partial) in plum crazy and have another one in Hemi Orange with a couple other minor differences, I start out with the Plum Crazy one and hit the list similar since the drop down boxes pretty much reflect the same item and only have to change a couple descriptions and maybe the price, go down and hit list item and then proof read it, only to find it reverted back to the plum crazy listing except showing now the orange Cuda picture...and or a couple other changes that were made but not all, that was a few days back and this issue seems to have cleared up.....for now.
