Is this 'Orvil Jack' Turquoise?

Hello everyone,

Is this large nugget bead a piece of  'Orvil Jack' turquoise?

The images do no justice whatsoever to the bright color of  this piece.

I am not a turquoise expert....it is very hard to tell without being able to hold the bead to feel the weight and texture. It is possible that it is turquoise, but it looks very much like some imitation turquoise beads I purchased for a project...they are typically made from dyed Howlite.
