Hi. I have no returns in all of my listings. Recently a buyer asked to return an item because he does not like it. He has stated that it is not the fault of the seller, but the fault of the product. I want to return the item, but I want him to be on the hook for the 25.00 it cost me to ship to him plus the return shipping plus a 25.00 restock fee. How can I do this? Just click accept return? Will it allow me to charge this amount later?

No returns only come into play with buyer's remorse returns. You can deny the return, but it won't stop the buyer from turning to their financial institution for a charge back.
Also if a buyer opens a NAD return you will have to accept the return eBay will give you no choice in the matter.
eBat doesn't allow you to charge a restocking fee.

If the buyer filed an INAD, you pay return shipping and give buyer a full refund.
Restocking fee's, Ebay did away with that nonsense years ago.

Restocking fees... that's archaic and can't be done here. If the buyer opens a not as described case it won't matter what they stated, some buyers are well aware of this and some aren't. Many that are will open that type of case because the seller pays return shipping by force... unless the seller allows the buyer to keep the item to avoid the cost.
If that is the type of case they opened; you refund the buyer in full. If they opened a remorse return the shipping falls on them but they still get a full refund... unless you're a top rated seller who offers free 30 day returns, then I have read you can deduct 50% from their refund no matter the type of case they opened... but research that yourself to be sure..
