automatic return policy

I got screwed out of a $250 monitor and money cause ebay automatically set my return policy to give automatic refund and buyer can keep item. I had to go in and turn off automatic return policy. This had never happen before wonder why a bunch of stupid stuff is going on now.

I just returned an item.

I printed out the shipping label and mailed the item back to the seller.

eBay did not refund until the tracking number showed as delivered.

I did not get automatic refund. I am not sure why sellers are complaining about automatic refund.

I didn't care about the automatic return  except I didn't get the item back and ebay gave him the refund right away so I am out both money and monitor.
