On a return case you are expected to open the request and select from several options including sending a label, sending a message and/or simply giving a return without a label. There will be a link that offers you to click and eBay will provide the label. There is no need for you to upload a separate label. Just click the link in return and eBay takes it from there. Takes at best a fraction of a second.
