Bought an oil sensor mid December from a seller who's add posted specifically my car make/model/year as being compatible with the sensor. My mechanic wasn't able to fit me in for repair before the holidays and in January he was hospitalized. He only got to look at my car early February. And guess what?! The sensor is not a match!!! I contacted the seller, but they played the dumb card, asking for a picture... the old oil sensor is under the engine, I'm not able to open up my car and surely won't pay extra for one picture to be taken for the seller's frivolities. I told them that I have no funds for such thing. After that they did not answer. I want my money back or exchange for the right part!! The advertisement posted incorrect info, the mistake was not on my part, even if I found it out late...
How can I get my money?!?

Your time to get a refund on eBay has expired. If you paid with PayPal you still have time to file a not as described case there.
If you paid with a credit card return the item with tracking. If the seller doesn't refund thedispute the charge on your credit card citing you received the wrong item and returned it and the seller refuses to refund. But check with your credit card first because some cards only allow 60 days to file a chargeback.

If you're past the dates allowed for an eBay Money Back Guarantee claim, then work next with PayPal (if you used them) and finally with your CC (if you used one). You have 180 days with those venues. Good luck.
