I don't understand why as a customer,that we have to wait until a buyer receive a faulty product that they sent you in the first place, before you as buyer can receive a full refund. Some of these vendors are dishonest and play games with people about there hard earned money. I feel that's not fair towards the consumer. These vendors need to be vetted more before there are allowed to service merchants or situations like mine will continue to happen

Assuming that you mean that you don't understand why a SELLER has to receive a returned faulty product before a refund can be issued, the main reason is that, if there is no requirement that the seller receive the return first, any buyer could just state he received an item that's not as described and the seller would have to refund. That would mean that the buyer would be refunded and be allowed to keep the item. Does it seem fair that a buyer would wind up with both the item (since he didn't have to return it) and the refund (since the seller would be required to refund him)?
As for vetting sellers, eBay offers plenty of information on how to do that. If, despite your efforts, you have a bum seller, you know how to use the MBG, I assume.

How would someone know if a faulty item was sent if the buyer did not have it in hand? We can not see the item you are talking about, you are not talking to eBay, we are buyers and sellers. Did you open a Not as Described case or not read the whole listing? Did you check their feedback before buying/bidding? Was the item new or used? Games are played on both sides of the isle's, buyers and sellers. Buyers need to be better vetted also.

Part was new ebay fitment said it was rite but it didn't fit when I received it,estimated return date was for the 22th of January I just got an update on the 25th saying it was on its way to the vedor

Part was new ebay fitment said it would fit,and it didn't sent it rite back suppose to been delivered on the 22th but got there on the 25th ...No I didn't check the feedback my mishaps cause later I read prior ppl had the same problem before ! U r rite! Partially my fault,never again

It works the same.
The item has to be returned to get a refund.

When the seller receives it, they have 2 days to refund, if they don't, Ebay will refund for them.
