Received an item not as described, seller does not accept returns

When I select item not as described and write a description of it, and click continue, I just get an answer "seller does not accept returns.

If item has been authenticated through eBay there are no returns.

Otherwise, "no returns" does not mean no returns from a seller. And item can be returned in only 30 days from arrival. A buyer cannot do a return usually until estimate date of arrival also.

it arrived early, so before estimated date. I emailed the seller but they have not answered.

OK, then wait til one day past the last estimated delivery date and open an item not as described case.

You don't have to contact the seller and the seller does not have to answer, but they may come to wish they had.

All that means is they don't want the item back when they have to refund...whether they understand that or not.

No, it means that they don't want to accept all buyer remorse returns.   They still have the option to request the item back before they refund.
