Put return under wrong category

I wanted to return a purse which the seller stated that my eyeglass case and Iphone would it into the purse.  I bought the purse and they didn't fit.  When I made a complaint I put the complaint under "didn't fit" which I should not have.  I should have put it under "misrepresentation".   Now the seller won't take back the purse and I contacted Ebay and they said I am out of luck.  Is that it?

If you file a chargeback with your card issuer @pagirl you have no choice but to use the correct reason #3 -- Inaccurately described the merchandise.

Since you have already made a valid attempt to return the purse, you qualify. Because the purse is not as described, their return policy has lost its bearings. Hence, if they want the purse back, they have to pay the return shipping themselves.

Are you willing to pay the return fee? If you want, you should contact seller and try to negotiate with them and maybe they will let you return that item.

@pagirl

On Ebay, you only get one shot at a return.

If you paid with Pay Pal, you can open a case there, but you'll have to pay return shipping.

Have a great day.

Thanks to all who responded to my post.  I appreciate everyone taking the time to try to help me.  I wish Ebay were as great as what this community is!

Did you iPhone have a case on it?

This would change the size.

Did the listing have measurements of the purse?

What is the listing number?
