My return request keeps looping back to wanting my password

My Return never completes the process as ebay loops back to asking for my password again and again. 

Any thoughts?

Is it Thursdaynight over there? eBay does maintenance on a Thursday night and the gremlins come out to play

Try another browser or a private or incognito browser window.

Just a dumb thing ... my password I kept entering was not my true password ... (once I figured this out days later and many attempts) I am in fine.  Would be more helpful if ebay stated the password is not correct vs just going to a generic ebay screen.
