My first return. How does the buyer get the return label?

A buyer started a return. It's my first return. Does eBay provide them a label and then charge me?

When you accept the return, there will be an option there to send the buyer a return shipping label. Look for it as you slowly accept the return.

If you accept the return and allow a return label to be sent thru eBay then eBay will bill you for the label sometime after it is used.  If the buyer changes their mind and does not return the item then you will not be billed for the label.

You can also just give the buyer a full refund and let them keep it for free.  That saves you the return shipping cost. On low value items it's a way to cut your losses.
