How deal with returns as a dropshipper

I have a buyer that asked for return couple weeks ago,

i got notified recently that the buyer delivered the item and i need to inspect it and refund when it's delivered.

I can't find any other information on that return page. 

I got a few questions i would be glad if anyone can help me

 

Where can i see the tracking number? Else how could i know the buyer really sent the item back? 

Since i am dropshippimg where does ebay tell the buyer to ship it?can i define an address to get the returns to?

How am I suppose to know when to accept the return and deal with it in future casese?

Ebay gives them the return address you have on your account.

Since you're dropshipping, are you having returns shipped to you or your China dropshipper?

 

On your multifunction scissors, if the case is not included, it shouldn't be shown in the photos.

I searched it on the account settings and on google and i didn' find that option.

Do you know where can i find it?

Does the address can be different on different listing like a policy? Or does it have to be constant?

Please note, if your return address is in Insrael, and your item location is in the USA, this is a violation of eBay policy and will result in account closure if you get too many reports.

 

If you advertise item location in the USA, your return address must be in the USA.

If you want a long career selling on ebay you'll want to fix that part as quick as possible.

That is just one of a long list of reasons drop shipping is not such a great idea.  I would issue the refund before it times out and eBay does. They will get your account dinged.

You're in Israel dropshipping from China.  Buyers are only required to return it to the item location in the listing.

Why was the buyer returning it? If it was not as described you were supposed to furnish a return label or return shipping costs. Since eBay only makes labels for domestic returns did you send them money to return it? Or was this a buyer's remorse return and they were responsible for the return?  What country is the buyer from?  To return from the US to China with tracking to prove delivery costs around $60 minimum.

I would be reluctant to refund if I haven't  received it back. Were you given a tracking number? 

Maybe things have change where the buyer only has to prove they mailed it.

The buyer's return reason: duplicate order.

the buyer is from the UK

I didn't send or pay for any shipping label. I just got a message from eBay that the buyer delivered the item and I have to issue a refund by June 16th, without any other information like a tracking number, carrier, or anything else. How am I supposed to know if the item was really sent? 

 

 

 

 

I made the refund yesterday because I Didn't know what do to and I don't want any issue with my account, but I'm trying to figure out what was I suppose to do for future cases
