Counterfeit item refund

I purchased an item and upon receiving it resulted to be a counterfeit. I reported the item to the seller as "I received an item that wasn't as described". However, the seller claims that the item is authentic and offers a refund upon receiving back the item. I don't think I should accept, how can I ask eBay for help?

It seems that the only option available in the report status page is to accept the item return. Should I report the item with a differently?

How do you expect to receive a refund if you don’t open a return request? Open a return request as not as described, you’ll receive a return label, when the seller receives the return back they have 2-3 days to issue a refund, if they drag their heels you can have eBay step in for your refund.

Click the return this item button and choose not as described.  When you receive the prepaid return label send it back for your refund.

It's not fair that you get both the item and the money.

Return it for a refund.

ALL eBay buyers, as well as sellers, need to acquaint themselves with the Money Back Guarantee for buyers, which is published in every listing and is really quite good and useful if/when a transaction goes wrong.

Find the item in your Purchase History and click on item not as described (or similar verbiage). The seller is required to send you a prepaid return label and to refund in full when he received the item back.

Then take a minute and read the MBG.
