Buyer opened return request

Hello,

My buyer opened a return request for the first time. We will accept the return, but here is the problem. 

We sell on eBay USA but are based in Japan. The buyer is located in Spain.

I can't generate a return shipping label to Japan. What are my options? Can I ask the seller to pay for the shipping and we reimburse the buyer? Thank you for your time.

Yes of course, if the buyer is willing to pay for the return shipping themselves first, and then you will refund for the item PLUS reimburse for the return shipping as a separate cash payment e.g. via PayPal.

However, the buyer might insist that you send cash for the return shipping first, and then might never return the item and keep the cash, so you'll lose both the item and the cash.
