They have been messed up for a while now, for me anyway and the part of the country that I'm located that is, but it may not be messed up for other parts of the country. I don't get notified of counter-offers at all within the platform, and I only receive an email saying I got a counter offer. So since I used to hear a "Cha-Ching" when a counter offer was made, I nearly missed a couple because I got no notification but luckily I keep a fairly close eye on my email accounts and saw the email stating a buyer made a counter-offer.
It's your business right.? and in the last few months I've realized that I can no longer rely on eBay for certain things, and you can sit and wonder why and complain about it however they very well may have set it up this way, which is likely be hard to comprehend however if your item doesn't sell because you missed a counter-offer or whatever, at some point you might apply some at all or more Ad Rate Percentage, which pays eBay more money for the sale. Make sense.? it's a business and eBay is in the business of making more money than they have been of what sales take place on their site. It's honestly sad and I spent way too many hours wrapped up in complaining about changes or things not working properly compared to how they used too, but if they set it up to be that way on purpose, then its not going to change anytime soon and so now I gotta do a little more ground work for my sales, but doing so is still worth it.
